Rain, Rain, and MORE Rain

Two straight days of rain (and I mean HEAVY rain) have kept me from my garden. The newly boxed beds (2 of 3 are finished) began to hold WAY too much water, so hubby braced it up on a block to promote drainage. Prior to that it looked like a hydroponic garden!


The lettuce is LOVING all the rain, but its a muddy mess everywhere. I walked around the yard (or should I say squished around the yard) to take a good look at things. I'm praying for a little sunshine now!
