A VERY Muddy Garden!

Well, finally a day without rain. I decided I could sneak in a little work in the garden. Unfortunately it was too muddy to sink the last of the purchased plants. Instead I staked and caged most of the tomatoes, trimming a few extra branches and leaves.

I also managed to get a little weeding done. All this rain has caused EVERYTHING to grow like mad.

We had to harvest most of the Bibb and Red Sails lettuce since they were starting to get munched by slugs. It made for great fresh salads tonight.
